Synopsis
Marathon contracted with Praxis to collect and consolidate HSSE training from all their refineries and produce a series of new uniform and consistent HSSE eLearning courses to be used by all their sites.
The Project
Marathon HSSE training was largely disparate and being addressed at the local site level. Consequently, the training and messaging across all of the refineries and operations was inconsistent. The project involved collecting and consolidating training from all sites and writing and illustrating some 40 new HSSE courses. Praxis worked with Marathon trainers and SMEs to write and develop the new courses.
The Result
The work resulted in the creation of a Marathon eLearning standard that was then applied to all 40 new HSSE eLearning courses. Courses were deployed to all sites, with site-specific changes being applied where necessary to address the regulatory requirements of each location. Since the initial project, Praxis has continued to work with Marathon developing a wide variety of content including equipment and process related training.
