Praxis transforms client supplied reference materials into effective and engaging eLearning. Our experience designing, scripting and illustrating complex technical and process related subjects results in improved comprehension and retention. Our illustrative techniques combine video and photo assets with 2D graphics, 3D modeling and animations to produce smart content that penetrates otherwise inscrutable subjects.
Praxis can assess, research, write, illustrate and publish all types of printed training material. We have worked on a wide range of projects from oil and gas, mining and metallurgical, forestry and pulp and paper, to shipping and manufacturing. Our project experience enables us to design and develop training curriculum for almost any industrial process or system.
Praxis can customize, host and support Learning Management Systems (LMS) for a variety of applications such as delivering site orientation and safety training to groups of users not otherwise included in an existing corporate LMS. We tailor our LMSs to meet the specific needs of clients, including integrating them with existing training and HR systems. Our LMSs are designed to be convenient for both users and administrators.
Praxis develops process simulations for console operator training and assessment. We have experience with a wide variety of process types and units, Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI). We produce both generic and custom process simulations and can use machine learning neural networks to analyze existing data to model a specific process unit.
Praxis builds fully interactive and immersive VR training environments using a scenario-based software engine. We create new 3D models, use existing 3D models from the Praxis asset library, or adapt client supplied 3D engineering models to construct our VR environments. For site familiarization training Praxis collects 360° video and compiles interactive walk-throughs of client sites and facilities.
Praxis provides a range of consulting services both as part of large projects, or independently to assess existing training materials and generate a training plan. We travel to client sites to conduct SME interviews and collect reference materials, video and photo assets. Praxis also converts and renews old training content, by revising and updating old training materials and republishing them to a new format and standard.
