Synopsis
Praxis worked in conjunction with CNRL SMEs to write training on various common equipment used in their operations. Topics included Articulated Haul Trucks, K-Series Bulldozers, Conveyors and others.
The Project
CNRL needed training to address the design, features, safe operation, and hazards of major vehicles used in their oil sands operations. Praxis researched and wrote training using equipment operator manuals and illustrated the training using off-the-shelf 3D models purchased and then rendered and animated by Praxis. For internal cabin and controls Praxis researched and developed the necessary illustrations and graphics from scratch.
The Result
Detailed 3D animated training addressing the features and operation of major CNRL equipment. Training includes detailed instructions on conducting pre-use inspections, maintenance, as well as detailed training on the safe use and operation of the vehicles.
