Synopsis
Praxis was awarded the work to develop process unit and utilities training for the new LNG plant.
The Project
Praxis worked with LNG Canada trainers and SMEs to outline and write training for each process unit and utility on site. Each course was developed from process control narratives, vendor equipment manuals and P&IDs. Content was illustrated largely with animations produced from the existing 3D engineering model.
The Result
Praxis completed 22 separate courses covering all process units and utilities included in the LNG plant. Courses were published in an Articulate Storyline eLearning format, using Text-to-Speech narration. The goal being to enable the content to be easily updated and maintained in the future. Since the original project, our work with LNG Canada has been ongoing and expanded into other departments and areas of their operations.
