Synopsis
Praxis was commissioned by Phillips 66 to create a series of 3D modeled and animated process unit eLearning courses.
The Project
Phillips 66 worked with Praxis to write and develop a series of process unit awareness eLearning courses using 3D animated models of generic process units including such units as Vacuum and Atmospheric Distillation, Fluid Catalytic Cracking, Cokers, Hydrotreating, Sulfur Recovery Unit, Reforming and others. This work was later expanded to include a series on console operator troubleshooting training, as well as eLearning courses on heaters, safety instrumented systems, and others.
The Result
Working together with Phillips 66 Subject Matter Experts, Praxis wrote, developed the necessary 3D models, and produced all the eLearning which was deployed to all Phillips 66 refineries in the United State. Praxis continues to develop new content for Phillips 66 and maintain the existing eLearning to keep the content current.
